Position Overview

A prominent player in the commercial horticulture sector is in search of a Commercial Greenhouse Sales Specialist. This role is pivotal in driving the sales of Commercial Greenhouse Systems, Grow Systems, and Environmental Controls. The successful candidate will engage with leading US-based agricultural operations, promoting our comprehensive range of greenhouse solutions, including Venlo style greenhouses and associated environmental systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments and deliver professional sales presentations, both virtually and in-person.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to develop designs and cost estimates for materials and installation.
  • Process orders for Commercial Greenhouse Systems, ensuring all necessary components are included.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with prospective and existing clients, trade organizations, and specialized agricultural groups.
  • Tailor and present solutions that meet the specific needs of customers.
  • Coordinate sales initiatives with team members and various departments.
  • Respond to initial inquiries from potential clients interested in Commercial Greenhouse Systems and related products.
  • Travel as approved based on current sales opportunities.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales within the Greenhouse or Horticulture Industry.
  • Demonstrated success in closing B2B sales with clients in horticulture-related sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of greenhouse operations, particularly Venlo style systems.
  • Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to work with statistical concepts and geometry.
  • Proficient in applying mathematical concepts to real-world scenarios.
  • Familiarity with order processing systems and word processing software is essential.
  • Experience with EPICOR software is a plus.
Compensation:

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $65,000 to $85,000, complemented by bonus and commission opportunities.
