Position Title: Project Management Specialist III

Location: Hybrid (3 Days Onsite, 2 Days Remote)

Role Summary:

NavitsPartners is in search of a Project Management Specialist III to collaborate on various initiatives across our divisions and programs. This role will entail overseeing project advancement, managing timelines, and ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders, management, and other involved parties. The ideal candidate will assist project managers in crafting strategies to enhance service delivery, foster program innovation, and optimize operational processes, particularly in relation to public health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management Services (50%): Deliver comprehensive project management services, which include status updates, budget forecasts, total cost assessments, and leading project meetings. You will be accountable for driving projects to successful completion and managing the performance of project teams. Develop essential project documentation, covering integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, communications, risks, procurement, changes, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement (20%): Maintain alignment of project goals with all stakeholders through effective leadership, consultation, and oversight. Regularly communicate project readiness and progress through structured meetings.
  • Multi-Project Management (15%): Oversee, plan, and manage multiple projects while ensuring effective communication with stakeholders regarding risks, changes, progress, and status updates.
  • Comprehensive Project Oversight (10%): Supervise all phases of the project lifecycle, including foundational design, release planning, execution, and closure. Manage change, risk, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coaching and Mentoring (5%): Provide mentorship to agile teams to ensure that all projects achieve their intended outcomes.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven experience in leading or coordinating large-scale projects, with a minimum of one (1) year of direct experience.
  • Expertise in planning and facilitating meetings and/or leading teams. Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong ability to organize and present information effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in public health, business administration, public affairs, organizational leadership, communications, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project.

Initial Selection Criteria:

  • One (1) year of direct experience with similar responsibilities.
  • 4-8 years of experience in project management, quality management, public health, social services, grants coordination, or related fields.
