Role Overview: Construction Cost Analyst

DHD Consulting is in search of a proficient Construction Cost Analyst to enhance our team. In this role, you will be tasked with evaluating project documentation, analyzing market rates, overseeing financial plans, and liaising with subcontractors to guarantee that projects are executed within financial constraints and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine project documentation for comprehensive understanding
  • Analyze market rates for materials and labor
  • Develop Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) cost estimates
  • Assess subcontractor pricing and potential delays
  • Maintain a detailed construction budget log
  • Estimate costs for change orders and design modifications
  • Identify and calculate cost-saving opportunities
  • Organize and compile project documentation
  • Collaborate with subcontractors effectively
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
  • A minimum of five years of experience in the construction sector
  • Strong proficiency in spreadsheet and database applications
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies
