As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of medical claims, while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Claims Follow-up: Follow up with healthcare facilities to collect outstanding medical claims in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain in-depth knowledge of governmental, regulatory, and company billing and compliance regulations and policies for payers.
  • Correspondence Management: Review and accurately document correspondence details, ensuring seamless communication with payers and healthcare facilities.
  • Denial and Non-Payment Resolution: Address denials and non-payments through effective problem-solving and negotiation with payers.
  • Payer Issue Identification: Identify and report to management any payer issues related to billing and collections.
  • Account Receivable Management: Process, document, and transfer account receivables in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Daily Reporting: Review and complete assigned daily reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submission of reports.
