Accounts Receivable Specialist

Offit Kurman, a rapidly growing law firm, seeks an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our Columbia, MD office. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting aged receivables and performing various accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make daily collection calls to business and individual clients.
- Draft and send collection letters to clients.
- Monitor and report on aged accounts receivables to the manager.
- Collaborate with the billing team to resolve client account issues.
- Work closely with attorneys on collection matters.
- Assist the accounting clerk in resolving unapplied monies on client accounts.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts receivable and collections.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with accounting software and ability to learn new systems.
