Job Title: Environmental Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Specialist to join our team at Kiewit Corporation. As an Environmental Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and implementing sustainable practices on our construction projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain environmental programs and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Supervise environmental processes and address concerns at the job site level.
  • Assist in obtaining and maintaining environmental permits and licenses.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations management to plan for compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Develop and implement environmental training programs.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in construction environmental management, preferably on heavy civil infrastructure and/or water/wastewater projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, biology, or related field.
  • Working knowledge of environmental codes, standards, and compliance.
  • CPESC, CESCL, and/or CESSWI certifications are a plus.
