LEAD ENGINEERING PROJECT COORDINATOR
The Lead Engineering Project Coordinator role will oversee all project management functions for the Global Platform development team.

In this capacity, the individual will serve as a technical authority, managing timelines, identifying risks, tracking tasks, and ensuring timely and quality delivery of all projects.

Moreover, collaboration with product management, sales, and clients is essential to guarantee that customer requirements are fulfilled.

This position serves as a stepping stone to leadership and supervisory roles.

A Day In The Life

• Manage project budgets, timelines, and overall project results.
• Coordinate and supervise projects from inception to completion.
• Lead Hardware and Software proof of concept, design, and development initiatives.
• Collect necessary information from end-users to assess and align on Goals, Objectives, and Scope.
• Foster collaboration across departments to ensure that all targets and requirements are achieved.
• Ensure projects are delivered within scope, timeline, and budget while maintaining quality by holding teams accountable to project objectives.
• Execute all project management responsibilities for global product design and development teams.
• Identify and manage Risks and Issues.
• Create, monitor, and evaluate KPIs and Metrics.
• Collaborate with product management, sales, and clients to ensure customer satisfaction.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in Engineering project management.
• PMP certification is advantageous.
• Practical experience in electronics development within a manufacturing context.
• Extensive background in both Hardware and Software design and development.
• Experience collaborating with Supply Chain teams.
• Proven experience in developing detailed schedules, managing projects, and related project management activities.
• In-depth knowledge of waterfall and Agile design methodologies and all aspects of the product design process.
• Experience presenting to executive leadership and effectively communicating project statuses.
• Ability to establish, modify, and implement process changes to enhance engineering efficiency and identify improvement opportunities.
• Leadership skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients globally.
• Ownership mindset to gather input and feedback from all stakeholders to achieve consensus and shared objectives.
• Familiarity with the automotive industry and knowledge of manufacturing and marketing material creation is a plus.
