Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Information Officer to lead our organization's technology and security efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a technology strategy that supports business growth and objectives.
  • Lead the design, planning, implementation, and maintenance of our computing infrastructure and security policies.
  • Oversee all vendors and managed service agreements for computing, network, IT services, and equipment.
  • Establish metrics for managing IT effectiveness and measuring the impact of IT on the business.
  • Monitor industry developments in IT operations and advise senior management on emerging technologies and digital trends.
Requirements
  • Required education: Bachelor's degree in information systems or related field.
  • Preferred education and experience: Advanced degree in a related field, such as computer science, engineering, or business (MBA). Five to ten years of experience in IT management, including software development, infrastructure leadership, cloud computing, and security processes.
  • Required industry experience or certification: Experience in healthcare insurance and/or pharmacy benefit management.
  • Other specific requirements for the position:
    • Successful experience managing significant vendor relationships for technology and services.
    • Demonstrated experience with SaaS, cloud-based, and outsourced solutions through third-party providers.
    • Demonstrated ability to design and implement comprehensive approaches to cyber security and risk management.
    • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills to initiate professional and effective contact with internal and external customers.
    • Ability to implement and administer interdepartmental privacy practices within an organization.
