This individual effectively communicates this perspective to clients, advocating for their needs in developing personalized action plans and tailored programs.

Essential Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid driver's license, adequate automobile insurance, a clean driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle during work hours.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, take initiative, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, alongside proficient computer and organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to adapt to the evolving needs of program participants.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating patience, empathy, and compassion.
  • A cheerful and outgoing demeanor.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain respectful and collaborative relationships.
  • Minimum age requirement of twenty-one years.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and during crises.
  • Familiarity with local community resources.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Personal experience with mental health challenges, substance use, or trauma.
  • Previous experience in advocacy or peer support roles is advantageous.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • Certification as a Recovery Coach is preferred.
