Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Addiction Recovery Care, LLC (ARC). As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will play a critical role in managing mental health conditions and coordinating healthcare services for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform age-appropriate mental health history and physical examinations for complex acute, critical, and chronically ill patients.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient needs.
  • Respond to psychiatric emergencies and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Communicate with patients, support persons, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers to facilitate optimal care.
  • Participate in utilization review activities to ensure patients access necessary care.
Requirements:
  • APRN certification in psychiatry.
  • NP License in the state of Kentucky and DEA registration.
  • Minimum 2 years of inpatient acute psychiatric experience.
  • Experience with Involuntary Holds (Mental Inquest Warrant) preferred.
