Job Description:
As a Day Programs Manager with the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services, you will play a vital role in coordinating and developing day programs and services for individuals residing at the State Supported Living Center (SSLC).

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Develop and implement guidelines, procedures, and program goals for day programs
  • Ensure compliance with Department of Labor standards and guidelines, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), and SSLC policy
  • Supervise staff in the day programs department, including Rehabilitation Therapy Technicians
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams (IDTs) to develop programming schedules and priorities
  • Assist in evaluating program activities and ensuring effectiveness in achieving SSLC and individual goals

**Requirements:**
  • Knowledge of Texas Administrative Code, HHSC policies and procedures, and Life Safety Code
  • Ability to implement Skill Acquisition Plans and supervise large staffing groups
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze root cause and develop plans of correction
