Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a reliable and detail-focused Medical Assistant to support our clinical team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth patient flow and providing exceptional patient care.

Job Summary:

  • Perform routine clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and administering medications under the supervision of licensed personnel.
  • Assist clinicians with exams and procedures, including phlebotomy and EKGs.
  • Coordinate patient schedules, communicate with healthcare teams, and maintain accurate patient records.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent required; Medical Assistant program preferred.
  • 1-2 years of Medical Assistant experience in a physician practice or outpatient clinic setting.
  • BLS certification through American Heart Association required.
  • Nationally accredited Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA) or Vermont State LNA license preferred.

Salary Range: $16.28 - $24.17 per hour.
