About the RoleThis position is ideal for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants with a passion for providing high-quality patient-centered care in a multidisciplinary setting. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive cancer care services.
Job Summary:- Provide direct patient care in the Foley Cancer Center, managing patients in various settings, including clinics, inpatient units, emergency departments, and telehealth platforms.
- Collaborate with medical directors, physicians, and nurse partners to ensure seamless coordination of care and optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and contribute to the development of treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records and write progress notes on patient charts, detailing treatments, procedures, and patient status.
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:
- A Master's Degree in Nursing or a Graduate degree from an American Medical Association-approved Physician Assistant program.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a specialty area, such as oncology, pain management, orthopedics, emergency medicine, psychiatry, or endocrinology.
- Licensure with the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation, along with advanced certification by a national certifying organization recognized by the Vermont Nursing Board.
- Licensure by the Vermont Medical Board, accompanied by certification by a national certifying organization recognized by the Vermont Medical Board for scope of practice.
The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $120,000 - $150,000, based on industry standards and location factors.
