Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering primary care services to patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric populations. This includes conducting comprehensive medical history and physical examinations, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain complete medical history and physical examination on patients
  • Review medical records and integrate data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Determine presumptive diagnosis and order laboratory and diagnostic procedures as needed
  • Develop a therapeutic plan for patient and provide education on medications and treatment instructions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program
  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the state of Vermont
  • 3-5 years primary care experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Work-Life Balance

We offer a 4-day workweek and on-call schedule averaging 3 weeks per year. You will also receive CME leave (1 week/year) and a CME allowance ($6,000/year). Opportunities to apply for school loan repayment up to $20,000 per year are available.
