About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Physician Contact Center Representative. As a key member of our HSSConnect contact center, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to patients seeking medical care with our esteemed physicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage and counsel patients to determine the best course of action for their orthopedic or rheumatologic needs.
  • Utilize our automated referral system to schedule and refer patients to HSS physicians, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of our physicians, services, and locations to provide accurate and timely referrals.
  • Manage email queues and document all cases via Salesforce, ensuring efficient and effective communication.
  • Stay up-to-date on insurance and revenue cycle information to provide expert guidance to patients.
Requirements
  • Customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and compassion.
  • Proficiency in software programs specific to healthcare, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Education: College degree or equivalent experience.
