Job Description

At Office Depot, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Team Lead to join our team. As a Retail Team Lead, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a positive store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Print Sales and Services: Support efficient operation of the Print Services area, drive overall store sales, and operate and assist associates on all equipment to maintain efficient production and ensure client orders are completed correctly and on-time.
  • Operational Efficiency: Process merchandise accurately and efficiently, adhere to established procedures, deadlines, and visual merchandising standards, identify areas for process improvement, and implement plans to reduce waste and inefficiencies.
  • Client Engagement: Drive positive client satisfaction levels, coach and train associates to enhance the customer experience, support community outreach initiatives, and continually develop personal selling skills and product knowledge.
  • External Key Carrier and Leader on Duty: Ensure the safety and security of the building and associates during the absence of the management team, perform opening or closing responsibilities, and assist in review of cash handling, cashier, and merchandise error logs.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent education preferred
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in related field
  • Sales and/or Customer Service experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to use computers and technology for information, and to access information necessary to complete the job
  • Skilled in Customer Service and Print Services experience would be desired
  • Must possess advanced selling skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to use technology applicable to the role
