SLSCo, Ltd. is in search of a skilled Site Construction Manager to become a vital part of our expanding Housing Division, focusing on significant civil infrastructure initiatives across the nation.

The Site Construction Manager will oversee all construction activities involving subcontractors and in-house teams, ensuring that projects are executed safely, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

This role will report directly to the Construction Manager or Project Executive and will frequently engage with Client representatives.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the Site Construction Manager reporting to the project Construction Manager.
  • Communicate effectively with applicants, contractors, and team members.
  • Conduct inspections in accordance with approved policies, plans, and revisions.
  • Foster positive relationships with all stakeholders involved in the project.
  • Coordinate feedback among all parties, including contractors and the Construction Manager.
  • Notify the Construction Manager promptly of any schedule discrepancies.
  • Monitor contractor adherence to safety regulations and report any unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Lead weekly (or daily, if necessary) construction meetings to address and resolve outstanding issues.
  • Ensure that daily, weekly, and monthly reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and respect on-site at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Construction Manager.
  • Conduct Safety Toolbox meetings with contractors.

Position Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Manager on scattered lot developments.
  • A degree in construction management or engineering-related fields is strongly preferred.
  • OSHA certification (10-hour or 30-hour) is highly desired.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of legal and safety standards is essential.
  • Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is required.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to manage daily pressures effectively.
  • Ability to pass background and security checks is mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to various job sites.
  • Experience with HUD, CDBG, or HUD CDBG-DR is a plus.
  • Being bilingual is an advantage.

Physical Demands:
  • Manual dexterity and sensory acuity are necessary.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions and sustain prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds, along with bending, pulling, and carrying.
  • Mathematical skills for basic calculations and measurements.
  • Capability to work safely in outdoor construction environments.
