Position Overview:

Responsible for overseeing a construction team at the job site, ensuring that all work adheres to installation and safety regulations. Manages field operations with an emphasis on safety, compliance, efficiency, cost management, and innovation. Coordinates construction activities to guarantee adherence to company protocols and compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the construction team, providing hands-on support as needed.
  • Capable of managing substantial projects with a crew of five or more.
  • Responsible for completing necessary documentation daily, including but not limited to: daily timesheets, as-built or service cards, daily production reports, traceability documentation, and customer billing sheets.
  • Train team members in accordance with company safety protocols.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, inspectors, subcontractors, and vendors working on-site.
  • Oversee daily operations in line with job specifications and customer expectations while continuously monitoring the site for evolving safety conditions and related concerns.
  • Track crew progress to ensure timely job completion, aligning construction progress with the overall project timeline and budget.
  • Ensure all work complies with installation standards.

Qualifications:

Preferred Education: High school diploma.

Required Experience: In-depth knowledge of gas installation techniques and standards.

Preferred Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of field experience as a foreman, a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and at least three (3) years of experience in gas pipeline construction and replacement. Strong team-oriented skills are essential.

Special Knowledge/Skills Required: Proficient understanding of gas installation techniques and standards, attention to detail, organizational skills, management capabilities, and the ability to read and draft blueprints (as-builts).
