Position Overview:

Responsible for overseeing a construction team at the job site, ensuring that all work adheres to installation and safety regulations. This role involves managing field operations with an emphasis on safety, compliance, efficiency, cost management, and innovation. The position requires managing construction activities to ensure adherence to company procedures and compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise construction personnel, providing hands-on support as needed.
  • Capable of managing large-scale projects with five or more crew members.
  • Responsible for daily paperwork, including timesheets, service cards, production reports, traceability documentation, and customer billing sheets.
  • Train crew members in accordance with company safety protocols.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, inspectors, subcontractors, and vendors on-site.
  • Oversee daily operations in line with job specifications and customer expectations while continuously monitoring the site for changing safety conditions.
  • Track crew progress to ensure timely job completion, aligning construction progress with the overall project schedule and budget.
  • Ensure all work complies with installation standards.

Qualifications:

Preferred Education: High school diploma.

Required Experience: In-depth knowledge of gas installation techniques and standards.

Preferred Experience: Minimum of five years of field experience as a foreman, valid driver's license with a clean driving record, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and at least three years of experience in gas pipeline construction and replacement. Strong team-oriented skills are essential.

Required Skills: Proficient understanding of gas installation techniques and standards, attention to detail, organizational skills, management capabilities, and the ability to read and draft blueprints (as-builts).
