Sales Development Representative

We are seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our team at Classavo, a fast-growing education technology company. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for professors and institutions, introducing them to how Classavo can enhance their teaching and classroom experience.
Your primary focus will be on finding potential customers, nurturing leads, and helping build the foundation for our sales team's success. You will be responsible for identifying prospects, conducting lead outreach, building relationships, nurturing leads, setting up success, and tracking and reporting progress using tools like HubSpot, Airtable, and Apollo.
Key Responsibilities- Identify Prospects: Research and pinpoint professors and institutions that would benefit from Classavo's tools.
- Lead Outreach: Connect with leads through email, phone calls, and outreach tools, introducing them to Classavo's value.
- Build Relationships: Engage with professors and institutions, understand their needs, and guide them through the initial stages of our process.
- Nurture Leads: Follow up consistently and thoughtfully, keeping leads interested and engaged.
- Set Up Success: Schedule meetings and demos for the sales team, ensuring they're primed with quality leads.
- Track and Report: Use tools like HubSpot, Airtable, and Apollo to manage outreach, track progress, and provide insights to the team.

- 2+ Years of Sales Experience: Or customer service experience.

- PASSION FOR EDUCATION: A genuine interest in education and helping educators succeed.
- Bonus Points: Experience in the education space.
- Occasional Travel: Approximately 1-2 times per year.
The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
