Pain Management Nurse Specialist

RieLes Group is seeking an experienced Pain Management Registered Nurse to join our team at the Pain Management Clinic. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient Care: Provide pain management services to assigned patients, including medication education and assessment for medication changes.
- Clinical Collaboration: Collaborate with case manager RNs and physicians to manage care plans and ensure seamless patient care.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Document and maintain accurate records of patient interactions and health care team communications in a timely manner.
- Quality and Compliance: Follow established clinical protocols and guidelines, and participate in quality record reviews as requested.
- Professional Development: Maintain current knowledge of accepted community standards and best practices in pain management.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited community college, junior college, college, university, or vocational nursing program approved by the appropriate State agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies: The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
- Licensure: Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice medicine in any one of the fifty States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
- Certifications: Certification by the American Heart Association in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
- Experience: At least three (3) years of experience working with pain management or a related field, with a minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience as a clinic nurse within the last three (3) years, preferably in the Pain Clinic.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of a wide range of medical disorders/conditions, diagnostic studies, and treatments related to prevention and treatment of Chronic and Acute Pain.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exemplary customer service and communication skills to communicate efficiently with interdisciplinary teams.
