Leveraging technology and a network of over 1,000 restaurants, we provide delicious meals to employees at work through our innovative food programs situated within various companies and office buildings. Each day, our locations feature different restaurants that come onsite to serve fresh lunches crafted from their unique menus.
Position Overview:
As the Head of Business Development at Fooda, you will report directly to the Vice President of Enterprise Sales. Your role will involve collaborating with our Market Directors and Managers to identify potential opportunities while also creating and managing your own sales pipeline. You will oversee the complete sales life-cycle, which includes prospecting, conducting discovery meetings, negotiating, and managing solutions. While you will support the implementation and account management of the opportunities you generate, this position is primarily focused on new business acquisition. The ideal candidate is results-oriented and performance-driven, capable of setting and managing expectations both internally and externally.
Key Performance Indicators:
Your success will be measured by achieving quarterly targets through effective execution of sales leads and account penetration. The average sales cycle for this role typically spans 4-6 months.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the entire sales process from prospecting to closing and contract execution.
- Manage, nurture, and expand relationships by engaging with and influencing key decision-makers.
- Advise enterprise-level clients on maximizing the value of Fooda through strategic business alignment, innovation, and implementation.
- Develop, compose, and present value-based sales proposals tailored to client specifications and respond to inbound client RFPs.
- Explore potential partnerships with industry leaders to enhance and promote the Fooda brand for increased deal closures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of successful direct enterprise sales experience with proven results.
- Experience in a sales or operations role within a food services provider.
- Self-starter with the ability to generate new opportunities independently.
- Excellent communication skills with a track record of building strong sales relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a collaborative team environment.
- Proven ability to think and act strategically as well as tactically.
- Strong technical skills related to creating RFPs and client proposals.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction.
