Head of Business Development

Role Summary
As the Head of Business Development, you will be a key strategic leader responsible for driving growth and establishing strong, long-lasting relationships with our customers and partners. You will spearhead efforts to identify and capture new business opportunities, help shape our go-to-market strategy, and scale our presence in new markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively seek out new organizations and target buying teams for Circuit's products - helping identify opportunities, pain points, and key areas for expansion
- Be a champion for the customer, helping refine the go-to-market motion with the CRO and providing on-the-ground feedback to rapidly meet customer needs
- Help define customer success and champion programs, leveraging relationships and accounts to promote Circuit within their networks
- Work closely with existing partner organizations to accelerate Circuits reach and product feedback cycle
- Define and implement new partner and channel opportunities to expand Circuits product into new verticals and markets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, offering mentorship and guidance to enhance their customer and partner engagement strategies
- Work with Product teams on market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and competition in the AI industry
- Continuously work with leadership and product teams to refine the ideal customer profile and target buying teams - helping to influence marketing and sales strategy
- Influence Circuit's growing Marketing and Sales Technology stack, ensuring processes are in place to get optimum usage out of key platforms like Hubspot and working with IT and Operations teams to refine platform usage and selection
- Establish and monitor key performance metrics to measure success and inform decision-making in business development efforts
Education
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Business, Statistics, Accounting, or equivalent real-world experience
Experience
- 8+ years of experience working in Sales, Business Development, or Channel Management roles
- Experience in AI, technology, or a related field is a strong plus
- Proven track record managing enterprise-level contracts and relationships from SMBs to F500s
- Experience owning channel partnerships and building those relationships from the ground up
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results
- Familiarity with CRM and Sales Tech (SalesLoft, Hubspot, Gong.IO) a plus
- Experience selling or managing customers of an enterprise SAAS platform

- Exceptional relationship management skills, with a focus on building and maintaining long-lasting partnerships
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
