Advanced Practice Provider for Neuro Critical Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our Neuro Critical Care team at Emory University Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our critical care services.
Responsibilities- Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide treatment as needed.
- Documentation and Communication: Accurately document patient information, communicate effectively with healthcare teams, and maintain accurate records.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care, and provide leadership and guidance to junior team members.
- Education and Training: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in neuro critical care.
- Education and Licensure: Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program, and current licensure as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia.
- Certifications and Experience: Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, and at least one year of direct experience in a high-acuity clinical specialty.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in electronic medical records.
