HR Information Systems Analyst

The HR Information Systems Analyst will enhance TruFood Manufacturing's Human Resources information systems and workflows while spearheading system implementations. This role involves collaborating with essential stakeholders to identify opportunities that better serve our workforce and the organization in areas such as talent acquisition, talent management, communication, payroll, and comprehensive data oversight. The ideal candidate is proactive, capable of teamwork, and takes ownership of all project outcomes to ensure effective results.

The HR Information Systems Analyst is also tasked with the daily management of our HRIS, which includes processing employee information and benefits, generating reports, and ensuring data accuracy. They serve as the subject matter expert in automating, integrating, and configuring fundamental HR processes. This position is hybrid, requiring some travel and maintaining an office presence as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct HR technology initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
  • Work with teams to establish project scopes, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Manage vendor partnerships, ensuring that TruFood Manufacturing maximizes the benefits of each collaboration.
  • Investigate and resolve system issues, unexpected outcomes, or process inefficiencies; perform scheduled tasks and propose solutions.
  • Utilize HRIS expertise to develop, implement, optimize, and manage talent modules, including talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning, employee engagement surveys, health and welfare programs, and learning and development.
  • Create and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the HR function, promoting efficiency and ongoing enhancement.
  • Develop, document, and uphold comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures and guidelines for the Human Resources team.
  • Stay informed about industry changes and technological advancements, collaborating with peers to share insights and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a diverse, engaged, and high-performing team environment.
  • Ensure that all HR-related systems are consistently updated and compliant with labor laws and regulatory changes.
  • Assist in the development and management of structural policy matters related to the HRIS.
  • Research and coordinate the establishment of new state, local, and federal employment taxes; ensure timely payments.
  • Process multi-state payroll weekly; collaborate with management to resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Work with accounting to reconcile payroll tax deductions with the general ledger; provide regular reporting as needed.
  • Manage all HR-related audits by supplying necessary documentation, reports, and information on internal processes.
  • Oversee security-related systems as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent education and/or experience is required.
  • 5-7 years of experience working with HRIS systems, including payroll and applicant tracking.
  • Preferred 2 years of experience in implementing and managing end-to-end HRIS or similar projects.
  • Intermediate or advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.

This role is hybrid, requiring availability for travel and maintaining an office presence as necessary.
