Job Title: Guest Experience Associate

Join the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History team as a Guest Experience Associate and play a vital role in creating an exceptional experience for our visitors.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to support our Guest Experience team. As a Guest Experience Associate, you will be responsible for engaging with visitors, providing information about our exhibits and programs, and ensuring a positive experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interact with visitors in a friendly and approachable manner, providing information and answering questions about our exhibits and programs.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests.
  • Assist with daily operations, including cash handling, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Support special events and programs, including setup, execution, and teardown.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of our exhibits, programs, and services to provide accurate and helpful information to visitors.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or experience in a related field preferred.
