Job Description:

Solventum is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Representative II to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our healthcare clients, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery, pickup, and maintenance of cutting-edge medical device equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interface with Solventum customers daily to build, cultivate, and maintain superior customer relationships.
  • Prepare medical equipment for patient use, including disinfection, quality control testing, preparation for use, and transportation to and from customer locations using a company-provided vehicle.
  • Perform next-level escalation point of contact and take ownership of maintenance and execution of at least one key service center responsibility.
  • Support customers, including patients and hospital staff, by providing superior customer service with customer-centric solutions.
  • Execute timely and accurate order management using company-issued computers and electronic equipment for accurate documentation and record-keeping.
  • Obtain and evaluate all information regarding service and product inquiries and provide prompt responses and appropriate follow-up.
  • Seek out unmet customer needs and provide solutions or relay requirements to manager.
  • Assist customers in researching and due diligence searches for missing and misplaced medical equipment within customer locations or the service environment.
  • Safely operate a company vehicle to support equipment delivery, retrieval, and onsite customer service requirements.
  • Prepare best-in-class medical device equipment, disposables, and documentation processing for delivery.
  • Organize and execute assigned work tasks to effectively and efficiently meet customer expected timeframes for service.
  • Accurately prepare, pick, pack, ship, and receive inbound and outbound shipments using 3rd party partners; load and unload medical equipment from company vehicles.
  • Follow all work and safety instructions and conform to Company and Departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.
  • Assist with process training of other staff and customers when applicable; serve as designated facility contact person in the absence of the Field Service Lead.
  • Primary ownership of a core service center process such as inventory management, including tracking, reconciliation, and order management of assets, parts, disposables, and supplies.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or higher.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a customer-facing or service-related field.
  • Current, valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to work non-traditional work schedule, which may include extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and participate in on-call duties.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position through fitness testing as required in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and iOS applications.
  • California Designated Representative and/or Home Medical Device Retail (HMDR Exemptee) license preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, as well as demonstrated time management and prioritization skills.
Work Environment:

This position requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent customer interactions. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Travel:

This position may require up to 15% domestic travel, including potential for meetings or other business functions that require commercial air travel.
