We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Bosselman Pump & Pantry, Inc. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating the point-of-sale system, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Operate the point-of-sale system efficiently and accurately.
- Process sales transactions, handle customer complaints, and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and restrooms.
- Restock shelves, rotate inventory, and ensure that all products are properly priced and displayed.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including counting cash, processing credit card transactions, and securing the store.
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an attractive and inviting shopping environment.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
