We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate/Customer Service Representative to join our team at Bosselman Pump & Pantry, Inc. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer areas.
  • Restock shelves and merchandise as needed to ensure a visually appealing store display.
  • Assist customers with finding products and answering questions about our offerings.
  • Operate a cash register and handle customer payments.
  • Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging shopping experience.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

Physical Requirements

  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for long periods of time; frequently walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear; occasionally sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
