Project Manager for Building Automation Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager for Building Automation Systems to join our team. As a key member of our BAS/BMS Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of Building Automation Systems projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage multiple BAS projects from initial design through to commissioning and turnover.
- Coordinate with design engineers, installation teams, and subcontractors to ensure all project milestones are met.
- Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation, ensuring projects remain on track and within scope.
- Work closely with clients to understand their specific building automation needs and deliver custom solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to building automation and construction.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks and address any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Lead regular project meetings, providing updates on timelines, budget status, and potential challenges.
- Manage procurement and materials logistics to ensure all components are delivered and installed efficiently.
- Ensure the highest levels of safety and quality are maintained on-site at all times.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior project team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- 5+ years of project management experience in construction, preferably with Building Automation Systems or related fields such as HVAC, electrical, or low voltage systems.
- Strong knowledge of BAS integration, DDC systems, and energy management.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with one or more of the following platforms: Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, Distech, Tridium Niagara, Siemens, Trane, Delta Controls, Automated Logic, or other.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
