About the Role

Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist Level IV to join our team. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a safe and efficient operating room environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room, including the setup and organization of equipment and supplies.
  • Participate in the surgical procedure, including the handling and preparation of instruments and equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain aseptic technique and sterile field throughout the procedure.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient procedure.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to surgical technology.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology or successful completion of military training program for Surgical Technology or Operating Room Specialist.
  • Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • 5 years of total operating room experience in surgical technologist role.
  • 2 years of specialized training in one of the following areas: neurosurgery and spine, cardiothoracic, vascular, complex ortho, and robotics.
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist.
