Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist Level IV to join our team at Atrium Health Charlotte. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and maintaining a safe work environment in the operating room.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing patients for surgery, including obtaining and organizing supplies and instruments.
  • Ensure the maintenance of aseptic technique and sterile field during surgical procedures.
  • Participate in the development of policies, procedures, and standards for the surgical department.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in surgical technology and techniques.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology or successful completion of a military training program.
  • Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • 5 years of total operating room experience in a surgical technologist role.
  • 2 years of specialized training in one of the following areas: neurosurgery and spine, cardiothoracic, vascular, complex orthopedics, and robotics.
