The Position:


As a Senior Manager in our Commercial practice, you will manage multiple client engagements, ranging from multinational corporations to emerging startups.

A solid foundational understanding and broad exposure to federal income taxation, particularly in partnership and flow-through taxation, is essential.

Additionally, you will play a key role in developing internal training programs focused on partnership tax, engaging in business development activities (such as preparing proposals, presenting in webinars, and introducing innovative ideas to enhance client positioning), and participating in firm-wide initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, along with robust analytical, research, and critical thinking abilities. Additional responsibilities include fostering the growth and development of junior staff.

Expectations for Senior Managers:
Engage in business development activities (i.e.

prepare proposals; present in webinars, collaborate with other service lines to deliver a comprehensive tax strategy to prospective and current clients, etc.)

Maintain effective communication with clients to ensure satisfaction, meet deadlines, stay updated on legislative changes, and lead change initiatives;

Conduct thorough reviews of complex tax returns;

Develop a comprehensive technical and practical understanding of partnership and flow-through tax;

Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate Interns, Associates, and Senior Associates; and


Receive formal training in partnership & flow-through tax, on-the-job guidance, direct feedback from leading tax professionals, and opportunities for further training through internal and external resources.

Compensation and Benefits


Our firm provides competitive base compensation, a comprehensive benefits package, and a discretionary employee bonus program for eligible employees based on individual and firm performance metrics as per defined program guidelines.

For individuals hired to work in our offices, the expected salary range for this role is competitive; actual salary offers may vary based on employee qualifications.


Benefits:
Employees (and their families) receive coverage through medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees can enroll in our firm's 401(k) plan upon hire. Compensation:

In addition to competitive base compensation, our firm offers annual discretionary bonuses based on firm and individual performance, a discretionary long-term cash incentive program, and other forms of discretionary compensation that would be offered to the hired applicant in addition to their established salary range scale.


Qualifications:
6+ years of relevant experience in an accounting firm, with at least 5 years focused on partnership & flow-through tax.

A Bachelor's and/or advanced degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred.

An advanced credential allowing for client representation before the Internal Revenue Service is required (i.e. CPA or JD);

A self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; and

Proficient use of technology.
