We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team at Dungarvin. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing behavioral support plans for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Assess individual needs and develop comprehensive behavioral support plans to address specific target behaviors.
- Train direct support staff and program directors on all aspects of the behavioral support plan.
- Provide ongoing consultation and assistance to the interdisciplinary team to update plans in response to changing behavioral needs.
- Bachelor's degree in a related human services field, psychology, special education, social work, or counseling.
- One year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in design, implementation, and evaluation of behavioral supports.
- Commitment to serving individuals with severely challenging behaviors in community settings.
- Competitive salary starting at $52,800.
