**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Systems Administrator to support a contract with Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC), Atlantic. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining cloud-based solutions to support the contract's Independent Validation & Verification, Operations, Sustainment, and Installation requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions to support the contract's requirements, including networking, compute instances, and associated support services.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot cloud-based systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Implement and manage network security tools, including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based solutions with existing systems.
  • Develop and maintain local system design documentation to ensure compliance with DoD 8570.1M and subsequent DoD 8140 manual.

**Requirements**

  • 3 years of professional experience in systems administration, including supporting daily operational requirements of computer network systems.
  • 1 year of experience designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining cloud-based solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
  • Cybersecurity workforce certification/training in accordance with DoD 8570.1M and subsequent DoD 8140 manual.
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification.
