The Assistant Manager of Loan Servicing plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of the Loan Servicing Department. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Loan Servicing, this position is essential for maintaining a seamless workflow and ensuring high standards of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and support the team in executing daily tasks related to loan servicing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage the flow of work and assist in resolving complex issues faced by team members and customers.
- Monitor departmental activities to guarantee the completion of essential functions, including loan maintenance and quality control.
- Stay updated on relevant regulations and ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to within the department.
- Facilitate training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, coupled with a minimum of five years of progressive experience in loan servicing, including supervisory responsibilities. A thorough understanding of federal and state regulations governing loan servicing is essential.
Skills Required:- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to foster a collaborative team environment.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with loan servicing software.
