Position Summary
This role carries statewide responsibilities and is pivotal in coordinating chain activities and initiatives. The individual will serve as a representative for Mexcor Texas, working closely with chain buyers and supplier partners to develop mutually beneficial marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture relationships with designated chain buyers and regional buyers.
- Communicate effectively regarding issues and opportunities with internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate national and regional programs in collaboration with the supplier network.
- Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiencies and support chain initiatives.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for national and regional programs within the supplier network.
- Monitor trends and brands that could positively influence sales across various markets.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in wholesale management.
- Possession of an Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License as mandated by state regulations.
- Ability to analyze data and communicate insights effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using technology tools (e.g., iPad, smartphone, MS Office) for customer presentations and proposals.
- Demonstrated accountability for actions and results, ensuring high service levels for customers and partners.
- Adaptable to change and open to innovative ideas.
- Valid and current driver's license is required.
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to engage in prolonged periods of sitting and typing on a computer or mobile device.
- Physical activities may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and lifting.
- Driving may be required throughout the day, with segments lasting up to 2 hours.
- Ability to lift, lower, push, carry, or pull items weighing up to 56 lbs.
