Cardiac Sonography Specialist

The Echo Technologist role at Riverside Health System involves performing cardiac sonography examinations in a trauma hospital setting. This position requires a high level of technical skill and knowledge to assess patient status and provide quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and quality, with the ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform cardiac sonography examinations using appropriate protocols and procedures
• Produce high-quality images and provide preliminary impressions as needed
• Educate patients and families regarding the procedure and treatment
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to regulatory standards
Requirements
• 1 year of imaging experience (preferred)
• CPR/BLS certification (required)
• RDCS-AE Adult Echocardiography certification (required) or CCI-RCS Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification (required)
• RDCS-PE Pediatric Echocardiography certification (preferred)
