Role Overview
Under general supervision, the Reliability Engineer II will provide technical guidance and support for designated Reliability Engineering initiatives at the assigned site. Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and investigating Reliability Engineering projects to develop actionable recommendations.
  • Utilizing innovative technologies to enhance site safety, operational efficiencies, cost management, quality assurance, and environmental protection.
  • Collaborating with Operations and Maintenance teams to address challenges and improve key performance indicators.
  • Coordinating project activities to optimize equipment maintenance availability.
  • Ensuring accurate documentation for assigned projects and reviewing project documentation for precision.
  • Participating in small to medium site construction, expansion, or modification projects.
  • Managing vendor contracts for services and equipment.
  • Acquiring knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering discipline with three (3) years of related experience, or a Master's degree with two (2) years of experience.
- Proficiency in probability and statistical analysis.
- Understanding of Reliability Engineering principles and practices.
- Ability to research complex information and draw valid conclusions.
- Awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Completion of Reliability Engineering coursework.
- SMRP or CMRP Certification.
- Experience or certification in Six Sigma.

Work Conditions
- Ability to understand and apply verbal and written safety instructions in English.
- Must be able to communicate effectively regarding job assignments and safety standards.
- Ability to work in a potentially high-pressure environment.
- Occasionally required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 30 pounds).
