Job Summary

At Woodland Heights Medical Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Communication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating speech and language problems, as well as engaging in scientific study of human communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate speech and language skills as related to educational, medical, social, and psychological factors.
  • Plan, direct, or conduct rehabilitative treatment programs to restore communicative efficiency of individuals with communication problems of organic and nonorganic etiology.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • May lead and direct the work of others.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology.
  • Certificate of clinical competence in speech-language pathology (CCC).
  • Meet certain state licensing requirements.
