About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavior Therapist to join our team at NeurAbilities. As a Behavior Therapist, you will work closely with children and adolescents with Autism and other developmental disabilities, providing individualized support and therapy to help them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy plans in a one-to-one setting with clients in clinics, homes, and schools.
  • Collect and record data on client progress and behavior.
  • Collaborate with families and treatment teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Provide education and support to families and caregivers on ABA-based interventions and strategies.
  • Document client cancellations and report availability for substitute hours.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Six months of experience working with children and adolescents with Autism and other developmental disabilities (preferred).
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work well in individual and team environments.
  • Ability to remain patient and calm when encountering challenging behaviors.
  • Ability to travel to all service locations, including schools, daycares, clinics, and home settings.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
  • Estimated 20% travel, dependent on need.
  • Travel is local during the business day within your assigned territory.
  • This job operates in a clinic, home, or school environment and routinely uses standard technology such as a computer or tablet.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform tasks involving physical activity, which may include prolonged periods of walking, running, standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and stooping.
