About the Role

New Story Schools is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Therapist to join our clinical team in Reading, PA. As a key member of our treatment team, you will be responsible for implementing therapeutic skills acquisition and behavior modification protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of students' behavioral strengths and needs, utilizing non-violent crisis intervention techniques and physically assisting as needed.
  • IEP and Team Meetings: Attend and participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and other meetings to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Service Delivery: Provide and monitor services as stated in the student's IEP, developing behavior goals and revising and overseeing the implementation of student behavior plans as necessary.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments, develop systems of data collection, and analyze data to inform individualized behavior plans.
  • Clinical Supervision and Guidance: Provide clinical consultation and guidance to Behavior Consultants, as well as clinical supervision to employees pursuing BCBA or BCaBA certification.
