Key Responsibilities

  • Assist consumers with employment opportunities and implement job readiness training, educational, and vocational skills.
  • Develop a work bank and implement life skills sessions.
  • Collaborate with Case Manager Supervisor on other subsidy funds initiated.
  • Assist individual consumers and/or property owners in completing forms.
  • Provide resident information through regularly scheduled briefing and workshop sessions.
  • Coordinate high and medium risk cases with Housing Resources.
  • Provide tenant and landlord information through regularly scheduled briefing and workshop sessions.
  • Assemble information for the completion of forms for the preparation of reports.
  • Organize, maintain, and purge various departmental and client files.
  • Prepare and type correspondence, reports, forms, contracts, and specialized documents from drafts, notes, dictated tapes, or brief instructions, using a computer.
  • Proofread and check typed and other materials for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with departmental policies and regulations.
  • Enter and retrieve data on a daily basis and prepare reports using a computer; establish databases; review such reports for accuracy and make corrections as required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. You will also need to be proficient in using a computer and have strong typing skills.
