Ed Rinke Chevrolet Buick GMC, a prominent player in the automotive sector, is on the lookout for a dedicated and customer-centric Parts Counter Sales Consultant to enhance our team.
This is a full-time role designed for an individual contributor, offering a competitive salary along with a commission structure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist customers visiting the Parts Counter, ensuring exceptional service and addressing their inquiries.
- Understand customer requirements and suggest suitable parts or products.
- Process orders for parts and products efficiently using the dealership's computer system.
- Perform inventory checks and retrieve parts from the storage area as necessary.
- Manage invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
- Maintain an organized and tidy Parts Counter area, restocking shelves and updating inventory levels.
- Stay informed about current trends, new products, and inventory status to provide accurate assistance.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments, such as Service and Sales, to ensure prompt fulfillment of customer orders.
- Achieve and surpass sales targets set by management.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines in the workplace.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in the automotive industry and/or parts sales is preferred.
- Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Capability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in computer and internet applications.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
