In collaboration with management, you will play a key role in achieving both long-term and short-term departmental quality and productivity objectives. Your responsibilities will include clarifying business requirements, conducting gap analyses, and designing enhancements to existing processes. You will lead initiatives in quality assurance, improvement, and process re-engineering while tracking and reporting on key performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to and implement strategies aimed at bridging the gap between current performance and established standards for process management.
  • Assess the capability of existing processes and guide the development of procedures to elevate process maturity.
  • Propose and execute process enhancements to streamline and standardize all operations.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Manage the introduction of new processes within the Testing Administration Support (TAS) framework, including new testing programs and service improvements.
  • Actively participate in the development of quality and performance metrics.
  • Assist in establishing departmental goals and objectives aligned with divisional planning.
  • Implement action plans to achieve set goals and objectives.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental coordination to ensure effective execution of work activities through planning, delegation, and problem resolution.
  • Collect and analyze process data using DMAIC methodologies to identify and resolve root causes.
  • Contribute to data analysis for internal stakeholders.
  • Create project plans for approved initiatives in accordance with PMI guidelines and develop tracking mechanisms to ensure successful execution.
  • Research and recommend technologies that can enhance current processes.
  • Prepare or coordinate the preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Adhere to ethical standards and comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in providing work direction, monitoring progress, and training staff.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Visio, and Excel; familiarity with MS Project is a plus.
  • Significant experience in business process mapping is essential.
  • Adept at facilitating discussions with leadership and stakeholders in a diplomatic manner.
  • Strong project team leadership, process management, and reengineering skills are required.
  • Prior experience with Process Control and Measurement Systems is preferred.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Exposure to Six Sigma methodologies or Six Sigma Black Belt certification is advantageous.
  • Project Management certification or relevant coursework is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in process improvement, ideally within a service-oriented environment.
