Principal Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team at Stantec. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading electrical engineering projects and providing technical expertise to clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead electrical engineering projects from conceptual design to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Develop and implement electrical engineering designs, specifications, and standards that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, plus 15 years of relevant experience.
- Professional Engineering license required; Project Management Professional certification a plus.
- LEED AP credential preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, practices, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
