We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team at Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in San Diego, California.
Job Summary:The Principal Electrical Engineer will be responsible for leading our electrical engineering practice in the San Diego area, providing technical expertise and strategic leadership to our clients and internal stakeholders. This role will involve business development, project management, and technical leadership, with a focus on delivering high-quality electrical engineering services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the electrical engineering practice in the San Diego area, providing technical expertise and strategic leadership to our clients and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to grow our electrical engineering practice in the San Diego area.
- Manage and lead electrical engineering projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of high-quality services to our clients.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to our electrical engineering team, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.
- Collaborate with other disciplines, such as architecture and mechanical engineering, to deliver integrated design solutions to our clients.
- Develop and maintain industry relationships and visibility, representing Stantec Consulting International Ltd. at industry events and conferences.
- Assist with the development of the annual business plan and budget for the electrical engineering practice.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on leadership and technical expertise.
- Professional Engineering license required.
- LEED AP credential preferred.
- Strong business acumen, with experience in business development, project management, and technical leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
