Electrical Engineer/Principal Electrical Engineer

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This position will be located in either Rancho Bernardo, CA or Palmdale, CA.
Job SummaryThe Electrical Engineer/Principal Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for military aircraft. This includes gathering data, developing requirements, interfacing with suppliers, and briefing customers. The successful candidate will also act as a manufacturing liaison during the build process to ensure overall quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop electrical systems for military aircraft
- Gather data and develop requirements for electrical systems
- Interface with suppliers and brief customers on electrical systems
- Act as manufacturing liaison during build process to ensure quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience OR Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 0 years of experience for T02
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret or higher security clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain additional Special Access Program (SAP) access
- Current, active in-scope DoD Secret or higher security clearance
- Proficiency with Matlab, Simulink, DOORS
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to lead fellow engineers on technical efforts
