Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer/Principal Electrical Engineer to design and develop avionics systems for military aircraft. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electronic design, system integration, and functional analysis. They will work closely with our cross-functional team to ensure the successful development and integration of avionics systems.
Responsibilities- Design and develop avionics systems for military aircraft
- Conduct functional analysis, timeline analysis, and detail trade studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
- Collaborate with subsystem responsible engineers, mission management hardware engineers, and system test engineers to ensure successful system integration
- Act as manufacturing liaison during build process to ensure overall quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved
- Support integration of avionics on military aircraft
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience OR Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 0 years of experience for T02
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret or higher security clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain additional Special Access Program (SAP) access
- Current, active in-scope DoD Secret or higher security clearance
- Proficiency with Matlab, Simulink, DOORS
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to lead fellow engineers on technical efforts
