Financial Analyst - Real Estate

Fairview Search Group, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst - Real Estate to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This is a newly created role due to internal company growth, offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our real estate projects.

About the Role:

The Financial Analyst - Real Estate will be responsible for financial modeling and analysis related to current and future real estate projects. This individual will review and analyze project budgets, work with the corporate real estate department to track project expenses, and collaborate with our corporate accounting team to ensure expenses are capitalized correctly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform financial projections and analysis to evaluate real estate opportunities and investments in current properties
  • Support the corporate real estate department in tracking project budgets and ensuring timely expenditures in our project database system (Projecto)
  • Collaborate with corporate accounting to ensure projects are capitalized correctly
  • Participate in regular meetings to discuss the status of all real estate projects
  • Produce summarized reports showing the investment in each property

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis with a focus on real estate
  • 4-year college degree (Major: Finance or Accounting preferred)
  • Experience with Projecto or another project database system a plus
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
